Ray Bradley:
The furious fingers fly as Ray strangles the six-string. He incorporates a traditional surf-guitar rig of the infamous Fender Stratocaster and Twin Reverb, with the requisite Reverb tank, making the songs drip with surf vibe. Ray is The Mai Tais’ musical director, with a vast knowledge of first wave, second wave, and in-between sets of the California surf music scene. He brings this and his own brand of original tunes to The Mai Tais, powering the band forward.
Ian Cooke:
Ian provides the backbeat for the band’s rocking surf sound. He grew up surfing in Santa Cruz and followed the waves south to Orange County. In addition to holding down the tempo onstage and being the consummate surfer, Ian propels the band through the gigs as the resident MC.
Rich Atkinson:
Rich is the bassist and chief creative officer for the band. He brings a wide array of influences and technical skills to The Mai Tais. You can always depend on finding Rich pounding out the low notes, fine tuning the gear, or just bouncing around like Tigger on caffeine.
